In January 2009, Circle the City will unveil a new website that will provide further information about our organization and its programs and services. For now, please take a moment to reflect on a few of the faces of Circle the City, and consider making a tax deductible donation to help us surround these individuals, our dear neighbor, with health care, healing and hope.
Circle the City is a Phoenix based non-profit that provides for the unmet needs of homeless individuals and families, especially during times of illness. We provide basic necessities to ease the burdens of homelessness and provide financial assistance that makes health care services possible where no other resources exist. Our services are coordinated with the Health Care for the Homeless Program, located on the Human Services Campus in downtown Phoenix.
Circle the City’s goal within the next two years is to open a Medical Respite Center that will provide a safe place for persons experiencing homelessness to recover upon discharge from the hospital. It is our belief that no one should have to recover from illness or injury while living on the street or competing for space in congregate shelters, yet this is what our most vulnerable brothers and sisters face every day.
Our Respite Center will provide a place where men and women can stabilize their health while simultaneously receiving services to help stabilize their lives, thus impacting the cycle of homelessness.
Circle the City is a 501(c) (3) public charity, and is registered with the Arizona Department of Revenue as a state qualifying charitable organization for the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit.
